Last year we bike around the Elba island and it was a fantastic experience, this year we decided to go on the gravel roads of L'Eroica, a famous path in the lands near Siena. We start our trip in Siena on friday and we reach Terme Petriolo where we passed more than one hour in the hot water (almost 40°C) and the night in a wood (free camping is not allowed, but we find more than one group with tents near us). Then we moved towards Casciano passing from the beautiful medieval town of Montalcino. The third day we returned back to Siena surrounded with the amazing landscapes that Crete Senesi can offer to us!!! Simply amazing!!!
We planned to do a Chianti tour on monday, but the hard climbs are still in our legs, so we decided to visit Siena and to finish this easter-bike-holiday with a great barbecue in the camping!!!
The group is fantastic, five people different in a lot of things starting from the ages, which togheter on a bike become something very special!!!
