Some of the group managed to get up in time to dance at the 4 mile point of the annual race. There were many smiling faces on the runners as they passed, clearly they appreciated the dancing.
It was a great day for the runners, but from a photographic perspective there was a ton of glare. There was no post processing, simply a conversion to h.264 and uploaded. I should have upped the brightness a touch in post proc, but in reality, this is how it looked.
First time out with the new Canon 1DX. Opted for a Zeiss Distagon T* 21mm f/2.8 ZE to gather a wide aspect. As I forgot some adapters for an external mic, I used the built-in mics on the camera body - less than idea. But as I was adjacent the speakers it really didn't matter.
