Plane stupid is an organization which wants to attract attention to the fact that aviation is the fastest growing cause of climate change. To illustrate how flying impacts the environment they created a TV commercial which features quite violent scenes of polar bears falling from the sky. The bears were chosen because they could be used as a symbol for the entire living natural world. Seeing these images really gives an impression that flying influences the environment directly.
