Families from six schools came together recently for a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) family night at Frontier Elementary School. Radio Disney taught the families the concepts of radio broadcasting and reception. The families also built their own radio, recorded a commercial, and broadcast it to the newly built radios. The purpose of the evening was to show parents how the STEM after school programs are teaching their children about careers in the STEM fields.
