Jackson Pollock was a famous American artist from the 1940s and 1950s. And he developed this new technique where you pour paint directly onto the canvas laid out on the floor. What he produced with that amazing new technique were these huge abstract works that were apparently not representational of anything in the world outside. And over the last 50 or 60 years there has been a huge amount of speculation from the art communities about: what was he exactly doing?
